Our stay at umphangburiresort

Don't use Google or Agoda maps to find this place as the maps are in correct. The maps show the resort is near the north entrance of the town but in fact it is on the south west side of town at the end of a small road. We spent 2 hours trying to find the resort and most people in town don't speak more than a few words of English. The location is rather nice since many of the rooms face a small flowing river. The staff seemed very helpful. The bathrooms were not especially clean. The mattress on the bed was no very good. There was good parking under a roof for our rental car.

we stayed for 3 nights, and seemed to be the only guests for the first two. Fortunately someone in town could give us direcions as it did not have any signs or a nameplate in English. Very peaceful st
