Chedi - makes you feel at Home!
We had a WONDERFUL stay at Chedi Home. It was our first time to Chiang Mai and it was an absolute pleasure to stay there. "Jar" at reception was Awesome - nothing was ever too much trouble and she was always willing to accommodate and assist us, ever patient and polite. Lovely facilities, pool to cool down in, most beautiful breakfasts which we weren't expecting but were fantastic! Delicious pineapple cookies at reception and a never-ending supply of bottled water - really fantastic place to stay.
If you book your tours through reception you get extra 10% off which is real bonus. Jar helped us book full day cooking course with Asia Scenic Cooking School which was the BEST experience ever. We also hired a scooter for a day and went up Doi Suthep, leaving round 5am for sunrise. We really wanted to do Doi Inthanon tour to see twin chedis - were contemplating hiring own car but decided on tour. Thing the company was "Somporn" or something similar - it allows you to see Twin Chedis but only 40 min and the guide wasn't very knowledgeable but we're glad we could see it.
Also Jar allowed us to leave our luggage at the hotel for a full day when we had 9pm flight and still use all the facilities, swim, waters, etc - they were Really WONDERFUL and would highly recommend them.
