Great villa for families with young children

We had a great time at Rawai VIP Villas. Overall, I would highly recommend it for families with young children!
Pros: - great villa setting for multiple families, maintain your own privacy in the bedroom but hang out in the kitchen together - private pool which the kids love - kids water park, indoor, outdoor playground, sand pit area which are great for children under 7. Older children will find it boring I believe. - awesome breakfast variety. We were there for 5 mornings and all 5 days had different food selection which was yummy and fresh! - villa was clean and well maintained - staff was friendly and polite, we even got a buggy ride to the spa! - easy to get to nearby islands by the boats outside, we spent a great day at coral island!
Cons - some mosquitoes here and there - staff forgot to do housekeeping for one of the days, and we always remind them to do so when we leave the villa - location is far from patong and other parts of phuket where main attractions are. This was fine for us as we rented private charter but be prepared to spend 30-45min to get to the next location.

Well run family resort

Room for improvement
I would have given 5 stars. However, the big playroom with 3 electronic merry go round,, all does not work. It is disappointing for little one who asked why it does not move.

If there's a tri-cycle can be use by the children would be best, or the bicycle provided has added children seat even better
