We loved this hotel

We had read poor reviews for this hotels - mainly on other sites rather than on Agoda - but decided to book anyway and were delighted that we did. As regular travellers for both business and pleasure we have stayed in so many hotels but this one is near the top as our favorite. It is also the only hotel where we have decided to go back rather than keep our holiday experience fresh by always staying in different places.

Firstly the room was spectacular. We had a pool villa and in the past we have been disappointed by pool villas - often just a corner carved out for a splash pool or an outside bath. But his pool villa came with a 10m by 2.5m infinity pool. And as this was the 3rd floor it meant you could sit in the pool and look out over the wonderful garden views as well as even see some sea. A real world of your own.

We had also wanted a large room as we have a one year old son who is already very active. Separate living and sleeping areas meant we could put him to bed and still have so much space to be as noisy as we wanted rather than hushing around a small part of a suite. And during the day, the 160m of space meant we all had enough room to expand and play safely and securely.

In some reviews we had heard about poor service and food but we found neither to be true. Food was scrummy, scrummy. I had a sea bass dinner one night and steak on another and both were as good as top class restaurant. Staff were super friendly and helpful as well and very, very child friendly and child considerate.

Location was great - wonderful quiet beach, lovely pool. Shops and restaurants just outside.

We were there over Chinese New Year and the week after. For Chinese New Year the hotel was full but still with enough space to feel relaxed and not crowded. The week after the hotel was empty so breakfast was just us a few other couples.

I highly, highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful rooms, beautiful location, great food and super friendly staff.
