3 star hotel for the price of a 5 star.

Years of travel behind me, and this was hands down the most disappointing hotel I've stayed at. The ammenities belong to a 3 star, at best. Fitness room- is not a fitness room, but rather a room with literally: one bench in it, and to treadmills. The main issue, is the water: it is a filthy brown color. We wanted a romantic bath together at night, let the water run- came back 15 mins later, to see a golden brown tub of water, complimented by the stench of sewage. I couldn't believe this was the scene at a 5-star hotel. We called the staff... who sent a cleaning lady, who looked at it, and without any surprise in her face (telling us this is normal at this hotel) just said "Try again... again...", and left. Great. So we drained it... and gave it another attempt (although at this point, neither of us were too crazy about the idea of bathing in this water). The second attempt- same thing. We took pictures of the water, as it was that bad. I don't like those overly picky customers who whine about everything at a restaurant, or sometimes write drawn out bad reviews about hotels. In fact, this is the first time I'm writing a bad review- in years of using Agoda. This gets better. We decided to go out for a late night dinner, and asked front desk staff to again look at the water situation. At this point- any decent 4 or 5 star hotel would have either offered to move guests to another room, and some kind of other manner of remedy or reimbursement. In this case, we returned from dinner, staff told us its "ok now". We checked, and... the water was still brown (although now- a little better). I suspect the pipes are dirty/old in this hotel, and just havent been cleaned in a long time. The point is though... again, what good is a five star, if you can't even shower or bathe in your room?
