Only stay here if you’re staying long term and have your own transportation. Might be ok for an overnight when passing through.
It’s literally half an hour from anywhere interesting. Difficult to get a taxi anywhere and they will rip you off. We paid 800baht to get to Patong beach, when we got there we bought our onward ticket to phi phi from a really lovely lady at a tour booth, she told us that there is a public bus running between Phuket town and Patong beach for 30baht, something the hotel staff neglected to tell us. She said this was better than paying the 400 baht for a taxi. She was very angry when we told her we’d been charged double that. Research the bus or bargain hard with drivers if you don’t have a car.
The beds are very firm. We prefer a soft bed so we didn’t sleep well. The only redeeming quality for this place is the decent breakfast.
I’m vegetarian, I found one restaurant with vegetable fried rice within walking distance, outside to the left at the bend.
