The hotel shows it age

This hotel is old and tired. To start I would say the staff is very friendly, so this review is more on the hotel and the location...which is ok. Upon checkin you notice a smell in the lobby like bleach or some new air-freshener that continues to put more scent out then required. It permeates your senses throughout the stay.
Going to the room you notice right away the age of the hotel. It is old and hasn't been updated since it was built in....a guess here, the 70's. The elevator opens before it is on the floor leading you to either stub your toe on the floor as you exit or wait a few more seconds for it to land.
The lights in the hallway are two behind a shade where some of the lights are burnt out and not fixed. They also lean from the wall. When I tried to recenter the light it spun around completely and well that was....interesting.
Once in the room you have the furniture that shows the age of the hotel as well. I hit my word limit here...not a place I would s

Ok hotel that is starting to show its years
Temperature control of the airconditioner did not work leaving the room really icy.
