Great Location - Super Excelent Pool and Garden - Nice Rooms

We extended our stay to a total 3 weeks. Our room ( Deluxe Room) was on the second floor and has very high ceilings, excellent air conditioning and a veranda that was large enough for two people to do yoga comfortably. The room was cleaned and prepared well every day. The pool here is SALT so very comfortable if you dont like chlorine. The pool is long enough to swim laps and still has a natural shape to fit in with the beautiful well kept gardens. The pool and garden provide a very relaxing hide away from the street which is only a few seconds away. The resort is separated from the main street of Lamai by a short drive way and a security desk so no trespassers like the beach resorts and its easy to forget the busy streets outside while in the hotel grounds. The feel here is much more relaxed than Lamai Beach and the water is flat which is nice if you dont like the waves at the Lamai beach. The Beach is only 3-5 mins walk !!! The pool area sun chairs dont feel over crowded like the beach resorts and the area feels very clean, new and well maintained. There is also a fitness room to exercise again with good air con - the Sauna and massage room is not opened yet... its there just not operating. There is so much food and massage starting only 30 seconds away on the street. The Hotel only serves breakfast but local food is so easy with so many local shops and market. As a couple we were very happy here.... there is many families visiting Lamai and many staying at this hotel enjoying the pool. The only concern for some people is the Deluxe rooms do get a bit of noise from town in the late night. It was no problem for us and we woke up early every morning to do Yoga on the veranda. If you have babies or are a light sleeper perhaps book the other rooms or villas. The families staying here seemed mostly very happy especially the kids!! . We would like to stay here for a few more months - maybe next holiday. My wife really liked the service here, the staff arranged rose p
