a real review

OK I have stayed with Taipan 6 times , 2 nights each time. Location is fine, easy to get to. front door to BTS or MRT is a 10 minute or less walk. 7-11 one minute from front door. Taxi easy to get.
Food, their food is OK , more Thai flavored than western, reasonable price. Their bathrooms fine, not exotic but totally functional with clean towels. Hot water pot for coffee or tea, both furnished with the room. The beds, every room I have had the bed was rock hard. I can sleep about 3 hours then it just becomes so uncomfortable I have to get up. Do they have better beds in other rooms maybe, I don't know. AC was fine, about as clean as you expect a hotel room to be, nothing major to complain about. Staffs are fine. At 1100 Baht plus the taxes and stuff it OK for Bangkok, not 4 star , but OK. Shopping just a 10 minute walk. Very good pizza, Pasta, and bread place very near Terminal 19. google pizza it will show you on the map.
Taipan , Worth a try, you won't hate it.
