Huge disappointment
The front desk service is TERRIBLE.
We arrived in the late afternoon, waited for 20min after giving the passports to one staff, and another 10min after giving the credit card to another. The latter was less than helpful since he said nothing about whether he was going to take a deposit or how much the deposit would be. He just took my card and left.
After 30min’s wait, we were told that we would have to wait another 15min if we wanted a twin-bed room, and that we were upgraded to an oasis room. It was not an upgrade at all. It was what we originally booked. During the whole check-in process, they just left us sitting there waiting, no welcome drinks no nothing. Also, the staff provided no information about breakfast/ checkout time or anything useful about the room and hotel. It turned out that the breakfast is INCLUDED in our reservation.
The room was okay but the service was far from what I expected from a 5-star hotel and even the worst during our trip in Thailand.
