Cool on your budget

Stayed two nights at Eastin Makkasan and here is my short review. The hotel is located in a rather busy congested area, but is surrounded by restaurants with varied fare. The number of Indian restaurants would make it clear who the primary clientele are. Other regular activities like massage parlours abound and shopping malls are not too far away. One is received in a large lobby and a bank of elevators take you up to the reception lobby. The coffee shop / breakfast is at one end of this. It's simple and spacious enough to take care of the voluminous traffic. Check in was not a breeze, and I was made to wait as close to 2 pm as possible before the room was handed over. The rooms are spacious and the toilet was good and clean. The wash basin ceramic had completely annealed, giving it an unpleasant appearance. The furniture in the room is very poorly made and the wear and tear is quite unacceptable. The carpet was well worn and stank so bad with stale cigarette smoke that we had to as
