More of a drive-in 'motel' than a 'resort'

Tucked away in a Muslim fishing village is this 'resort' where every room gets its own roofed car port in front of the doorway. Its nice, clean and the spacious bed is one of the comfiest (& most pleasantly scented ones) I've ever encountered. There is also the bonus of a sofa bed in the room. The only downside I encountered is there is no hot water for shower (after sleeping in the cold air-conditioned room - you desperately need it!), the toilet has a slight smell and mosquitoes seems to come in through the bathroom ventilation brick holes.

Quite and Spacious Room
Maybe room required to do pest control. Ants were crawling every where inside the room!

Nice enough
Large room with carport. Good value, okay location, a few restaurants nearby, center of town is a bit far. Walking distance to beach. No hotwater in bathroom.

Nice, cheap hotel with wifi and parking
Wifi connection is good. Location is a bit hidden but easy to find. Halal stalls and 7e are within walking distance. One of the staff can speak Bahasa Malaysia

depends on where do you want to go
tad far from town, but within walking distance to the beach friendly staff private sheltered car park is a big plus spacious room with 40" flat screen
