nice, quiet hotel in a great spot on chaweng

this was my second time staying at baan samui; thus i liked enough the first time to come back again. for the price you a get a very good hotel with a cool atmosphere, a great beach-side location, an excellent pool, and friendly, helpful staff. the first night, we were put in a room near the road, which was a little bit noisy. they changed our room the next day without hesitation. it was my birthday, also, and the staff were very cool to work with my girlfriend to surprise me by setting up the new room especially for my birthday! you have everything you need within walking distance of baan samui. my only complaint is the internet. they have a paid wi-fi system, but it was very unreliable. the 3g access i got for my iphone while at the bkk airport was much better. i would definitely go back to baan samui in the future.
