Perfect for my escape

I had a great relaxing stay at Chaweng Resort. The bungalows were comfortable and suitably equipped for my purposes. The resort was quiet at night. I did have cold water for the first few days. (I was half expecting it as I had read it in a review.) When I finally mentioned it to staff, it was adjusted 5 minutes later. During the day the proximity to the beach was so handy. There were lots of beach chairs available and staff did not mind if you brought out your own food and drinks. This stretch of Chaweng beach was so much cleaner than the northern end which was dirty at low tide. There was a 7 11 opposite the resort for groceries and conveniences. There was a money exchange a few metres down the road so having my own currency proved to be the esiest way to go and I just changed it as required. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning next year!

Good location, nice pools
