We stayed here for a week in Feb. 2014. Location was great, right on Chaweng beach but at the quiet end. It was close enough to walk to the centre of the action, about 15 minutes, but far enough away that you could escape all the noise. Chaweng beach is awesome! Rooms were fine, nothing special but adequate and a decent price for being right on the beach. We had a fridge and simply stocked up with beer and coolers from the 7-11 across the street. The beds were a little hard but so was every other bed I slept in in Thailand. We would stay here again for its great location and the awesome beach. If you go to Koh Samui, I highly recommend the Thursday night market in Maenam and the Friday night market at the Fisherman's village. Take one of the pick up truck taxis and don't pay more than TB100 per person. Also, the guys who sell the TB60 cocktails on the street make awesome drinks. Our impression was that the less you paid for food and drink the better it was.
