Despite first impression being a little disappointing (the lobby and main building area need some attention) we had a great stay here. The location is perfect in terms of being within easy reach of nightlife and restaurants but not in the thick of it. The beach is ok, but was very rough while we were there. Asian food in the restaurant is good, international food less so. The food and drinks inside the resort are expensive though (as in most resorts - this one is no different). Lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room was a downside when it rained and rained!
