Fantastic

When I made my reservation, I wasn't quite sure what I was getting, but my family and I were pleasantly surprised with the choice. Checking is was quick and easy with plenty of help taking our bags to our rooms. The rooms were spotless, nicely decorated and very comfortable. However, we didn't spend a lot of time in the rooms. The beach was too lovely with plenty of lounge chairs available, soft sand and beautiful, clear water. We loved the 'refreshment' stands set up by the Thai's with fresh coconut, bananas and exotic fruit. The strolling sellers got a bit annoying at first, but soon we either had fun talking with them or they were satisfied to move on when we said 'no thank you'. The resort had a fine restaurant set up on the beach. You can get any of the resort food served you sitting on the beach in the sand with shade over head. The First Bungalow resort offered complimentary breakfast which was second to none. The buffet was ample from American type food to Thai food, plenty of fresh fruit, great coffee, cearals, breads, croissants, the list goes on. All of the staff were more than willing to make our stay comfortable and they were very helpful. On the last day we had to check out at noon, but our flight didn't leave until 5:30. No problem. There was a room to put our luggage, we spent the day at the beach and there was a shower with towels for us to clean up before getting on the plane. Just outside the resort area is a very quiet street with shopping and very good restaurants, more Thai style, that are worth checking out. A nice short walk. Not too far by taxi is the more hectic 'downtown' area which is a lot of fun to explore as well. Yes, we would go back and at the same time of year, beginning of September.
