Shame they messed up our booking!

Having booked a month ahead for a villa with private pool - the best room available - we were surprised to be told on arrival that the we were to be downgraded due to over booking! I have never heard of that in a 4* hotel. The girl friend was not impressed. As compensation we were given free tickets for the evening BBQ but that didn't really make up for the disappointment. But after a day or two we settled in OK and enjoyed the rest of our stay.
