Lovely Hotel, Friendly Staff, Excellent Location &
I really enjoyed my Stay at the Palm beach resort, I travelled up to join my ageing parents for a 10 day relaxing holiday. The hotel is fairly quiet(low season)and has a nice mix of nationality's staying there. The hotel is very clean(daily room clean)and perfectly situated bordering Bo Phut beach which is a lovely beach and the water is simply like bathwater.It is close to Fisherman's village which has some lovely bars & restaurant's which cater for all ages but more relaxed than other Thai resorts I've been. It is a 10 minute taxi ride to Chaweng which has good shopping and lively nightlife more suited to younger travellers/backpackers. Overall for a relaxing holiday with plenty to do I would highly recommend this area & hotel as an excellent choice. Just outside the front of the hotel are a few local restaurants which do need a mention as the food & drink are very cheap and exceptional quality of Thai food. We did a few trips which were booked down by the pier and Angong National Marine Park was the highlight, great trip and excellent value for money. Could not fault anything about this hotel and location at all.
