Disappointment

We booked this resort for the reviews we read but we were very disappointed with most things. The swim up bar was not open in 6 days. The bar staff were extremely rude and unprofessional towards my husband and I, we went to their bar once and that was enough. The bathroom was nice but the shower area was very dirty. I went the next morning to ask the reception to tell the cleaners to pay more attention to this area for the next 5 days and nothing was done about it. I would not walk in the shower without thongs.....horrible.
The large pool was nice and so was the daily breakfast and the staff in there were nice and welcoming. The resort is a 10 minute taxi to Fishermans Village and. We found a fantastic resturant next to the family mart up the road, amazing family owned place and serving gorgeous healthy thai food. We will not be returning to this resort again and we would not recommend the Samui Palm Beach Resort.

Good value, very nice pools

I feel spoiled
