What a great location! Crystal Bay / Silver Beach is definitely the prettiest beach on the island and I like how this resort is right by the beach. The garden view villas are nice with a private little patio. However there's lots of mosquitoes, also inside the villa, which was a tad bit annoying, but only logical considering the location. Lots of noisy frogs at night, so this is something to consider if you are a light sleeper. The pool is nice, however there weren't enough sun beds for all the guests, which meant people got up early to put their towel on them to try and claim theirs, which could be quite annoying. The restaurant has amazing food, great curries. We had dinner there 2 times, of which one we got everything served within a normal time frame, but the 2nd time it was much busier and we had to wait for 1 hour and 15 mins. Which is way too long, so staff planning in regards to anticipation of busy nights could be improved. All in all, despite the little flaws, I would recommend anyone to stay there for sure.
