Very nice private resort

Overall we had a great stay at Tongsai and I would happily go back. In hindsight I am very happy with our decision to start our stay here for two nights and then move on to try Sala resort just down the way - both great choices and nicely complimentary in terms of experience. Pros and cons pretty much sum up my impressions: Tongsai Bay is clearly a well-run place with a lot of character and very evident how much thought has gone into the details. Biggest drawback is also its strength: privacy and seclusion. It attracts a mix of families and folks seem to tend to a bit more middle-aged; this is not the place to go if you are looking for the singles scene for sure but we certainly were happy there as a couple.
