We love The Tongsai Bay!

Pros 1. Great location. Only 15 mins from the airport with a private beach. Very quiet and seclusive. 2. Great specious room with view. Love the bath tub on the balcony. 3. They have a few nice restaurants for you to enjoy. Since the resort is tugged away from everything they did a great job with special activities each day so you don't have to feel like going elsewhere for food and activities. 4. Services and staff here are top notch. Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel like family. 5. There are 2 very nice pools. The infinite pool has a great view and no kids allowed! Perfect for adults with no kids like us to relax and enjoy the quiet pool time. 6. With private beach, you won't have to be bothered by merchants on the beach like on Chaweng beach. They also provide free kayaks, paddle boards and a sailboat for any guest to enjoy. There are plenty of beach beds for everyone. Love how they spread them out so you have your own space without being too close to other people. You can just wave the flag that they provide for drinks from the bar. 7. Love the green hotel idea. They try to use less plastic and more recycle stuff. Hotel has a lot if trees and animal around the hotel.
Cons 1. There is a very loud noise from cicada bugs throughout the day. You'll eventually get used to it but would be nice to just be able to only hear a peaceful sound of ocean waves without bugs noises. Thank goodness they are quiet at night! 2. Food and drink here are quite expensive compare to the average restaurants on the island. You need to take taxi to places and we didn't feel like doing that eveytime we need to eat so you basically pay the price for the convenient. Don't get me wrong. Eveything is delicious here and the view is amazing.
