Above average quality hotel at above average price

Very enjoyable stay, no problems. The hotel has a "faded luxury" aspect to it. That is, it was probably quite fancy 10 years ago and now looks a bit worn around the edges. Things like towels and shower curtains being a bit worn, etc. The hot water seems a bit spotty as well but that appears to be standard fare on Koh Tao (never really a big problem). But the rooms are nice and spacious and the pool is wonderful. The lobby areas are nice, they have a nice small beach and the buffet breakfast is fine.
