Beautiful beach

We were honeymooners and meant to stay 12 nights. We ended up leaving after 9 nights. The resort, which advertises itself as 'romantic', was anything but. It was completely full of european families spending their winter at the resort - there were so many kids in both pools you couldn't get near them. The resort fails to advertise it also has a Swedish school onsite. The sunlounges on the resorts beach were 'reserved' for the day by older couples placing their towels and other belongings on them - then not returning until sunset to collect them - many of the lounges had no one on them all day. The Thai food at the resorts restaurant was average. We ate at the smaller Thai kitchens out on the main road to find better food. The staff at the hotel were generally not helpful - often rude at times. The hotel does not have a written cancellation policy. On a good note, the staff at the massage huts were lovely.
