Ultra-relaxing base in centre of Bangkok

Excellent and stylish human-scale hotel, oasis of calm centrally located with Skytrain station 5-10 minutes walk and a canal boat pier even closer. Strongly recommend 4th floor suite overlooking the pool with two sitting rooms, well designed bathroom, second loo, and spacious bedroom up a staircase. Leisurely poolside breakfasts. Dinner in the restaurant was OK, but a shorter and more navigable menu might be an improvement. Hotel has been developed by modifying C20 traditional style house and adding on exceptionally well designed mod cons. Owner/managers highly visible and very helpful.
Would definitely stay again if revisiting Bangkok.
