Quiet luxury in the middle of Frenzied City

This is a retreat with high standards, calm, and attentive service. Staying here you can take BKK at your own pace. I have to admit that for someone like me who likes the pace of cities it was a bit too calm and removed in spirit but I know that I would be in the minority of visitors. I also was not enamored of the restaurant because I am not a vegetarian and did not favor the limited choices and odd things like vegetarian bacon but most will enjoy the California-like concern for health-conscious dining. I also found the service in general solicitous without being warm in the usual Thai way, which I've come to know as a frequent traveler to that delightful country. But these are personal quibbles. Book here, particularly one of the private, leafy deluxe rooms on the first level and you'll be very,very happy.
