Perfect start to Thailand
While the room was among the most expensive for the trip and high comparatively it was money well spent. The wife and I celebrated the first night of our honeymoon here and could not be more pleased with our stay. My only real regret was not spending more nights in Bangkok to enjoy a more extended stay at the hotel. The staff could not have been nicer or more professional. The room was superb. It's attention to detail set it apart from other high end hotel experiences that I've had. Immaculately clean, stylishly furnished, and comfortable bed among the bigger things it gets right. Excellent shampoo, beautiful complimentary fruit plate and when we ordered champagne for the room the bucket had the perfect ice to water ratio among the minor details it nailed. I would recommend buying the meal during booking with the room it was a very good breakfast and I enjoyed the fresh toast and coffee in particular. It's central enough and close to a metro that's useful for getting around town. Overall this is one of my all time favorite hotels and I would love to return and spend more time.
