Lovely resort that isnt over the top
We were a family of 9 people and I booked 4 rooms for us in this lovely resort. It is a true resort with just the right amount of activities to keep us entertained but not overly busy to disturb the peace and relaxation of the people who just wants to lay back.
We love the sunset bar which is set atop of a small hill at the opposite side of the island. Its great just to sit and have a quiet drink and watch the sunset.
The only not so good thing about this resort is the water heater of the shower. It is very inconsistent and the temperature flactuates drastically, so taking a nice shower is a chore trying to adjust the temperature every minute.
Rooms are clean and well maintained. Its quite big and for a fee, they converted a sofa to an extra bed if you are 3 person sharing a room.
The beach is very clean and the water is pristine. Although I've seen clearer waters in neighbouring Phi phi ley island where you go for snorkelling trips, the resort waters aint too bad either. About 5 to 10 metres visibility.
The food is expensive and breakfast cost 400baht per person per morning. At such a remote location, its better to have a room with breakfast. There are only a few other restaurants and resorts along the same stretch and they charge only like 20% to 30% cheaper for dinners or lunch.
Overall my family loved this resort and felt very relaxed and rejuvenated here. They all felt the stay was too short because we were only there for 3D2N.
