This part of the Island is much quieter than Tong Sai Bay and the water is a little bit bluer and clearer, though snorkeling wasn't a great experience, there were only clown fish, and I got'bitten' by them. There were two buffet breakfast places and was fabulous. Our stay accidentally coincided with the Lunar Festival and the performances were very nice, there were fire shows and live music and family games. There are heaps of long tail boats parked along the beach for hiring and they are very cheap. You can stroll along the shoreline to other hotels and restaurants, they all have different ambiance and live entertainment so you can be choosy about your dinner. The only bad thing is that the landscape is a huge flat area and the accommodation are cottages, we booked a cottage extremely far away from the reception, sauna, gym and the hiring facilities, like 10 mins golf cart drive. However, we were closer to the infinity-edge-alike swimming pool and the Sunset Bar which is a 10 mins hike. The sunset view there is very nice.
