Upscale type of resort

We like to spend some time in this type of resort but generally prefer the lower cost and more native Thai style resorts. This had a very nice dining, pool and bar and beach. So it's worth a stay. It's 400 baht round trip to the ferry pier. We really enjoyed walking to the small village behind the resort and had lunch, dinner, and drinks there. We loved that but not so much the scene in the "finer" dining and bar scene in the resort. Very large breakfast buffet so probably worth the cost instead of walking to a restaurant. We were on Phi Phi during low season so once again repairs were under way at this resort too. They were putting on a new roof nearby so there was a lot of loud pounding and so on. I complained and was comped a taxi boat to my next stay on the island.
