Good but slightly misses the mark

There's no denying the setting and location of this resort is amazing but in other areas the resort misses the mark.
The outside of the bungalows look authentic inside the rooms resemble a very average hotel and are quite contrast to the exterior.
My room was without hotwater for half my stay, but due to the tropical climate it was ok
The food was very average and overpriced, I preferred to eat at the village behind the resort, more authentic and better value for money
The thai staff were amazing, the resort GM I found to be condescending.

Wonderful place to stay
Wonderful place to stay in paradise. Staff was very accommodating to every need. Breakfast far exceeded my expectations as well! Would definitely come back!
