The cabins tucked away amongst tropical trees surrounded by butterflies and dragonflies are simple, rustic and we loved them. The beach was beautiful with white sands and delightfully away from the craziness of Tonsai Pier while still offering different dining options and not being too remote. What was less ideal was the poor communication about how to actually get to the resort. There is only one ferry per day that stops at this place if coming from Phuket and you need to know to catch it or you will pay an extra 900 baht to take a smaller longtail boat (you pay 250 per person on the ferry). But no one at the resort sent us any information about this and it was only luck that we booked on the right ferry. English skills of most of the staff are very low but the smiles are warm. Booking our ferry onwards with them was a struggle as they seemed confused about where to find the correct information. We were here during the low season (end of May) and loved the lack of tourists around.
