Amazing location, best of both worlds.
Our stay was perfect- the chaweng garden resort is located centrally (arguably the best location for travellers who would like both the opportunity to be nestled in privacy and in the midst of the hustle)
On one end of the hotel is the beach, and the other end opens out immediately into the night market bazaars and clubbing/bar district. The room that we stayed in was even nicer than represented in the photos online (which is rare!), and was well maintained. Room service was wonderful and thorough, and whenever we ordered any food it arrived in 15 minutes, all the time.
The resort has enough areas to accommodate both families and couples, and is also situated next door to the Ark Bar- an option for the more party-oriented folk.
Basically, the resort is really a lovely haven which is strategically located in a way that you can also get the most out of the busier life in chaweng.
Strongly, strongly recommend staying here.
+ Do bring some mosquito repellent / coils though, that was our only problem. But was easily managed.
