Excellent location in Patong

If Patong Phuket is your thing ( we can only handle the garishness for a few days), this property is well run and is what I would coin a small oasis in an urban beach town.
This is a fairly large hotel and property that is up to HGI standards. The front desk staff here is excellent. They go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. The housekeeping staff is great as well. They do a great job on the room daily and seem more pleasant than most in the business in Asia.
The beachside Italian restaurant (Terrazo ?) is excellent. They serve excellent Thai food and have a brick wood-fired pizza. The thin crust style pizza here is one of the better pies I have had. The prices are reasonable. Also, if you sign restaurant charges to your room, you receive a 15% discount. This may be a benefit for HI club members only, not sure.
We booked rooms with breakfast included. Pretty standard for breakfast buffet. One thing that stands out is the temperature controlled room for salads
