A pleasant stay, but a bumpy start

When I first arrived I was put in a dingy room with dated decor facing the road. Due to the local building site, loud trucks drove up and down all day, and scooters drove past at night. After complaining about the noise they moved me to a bright newly furbished room in a quiet location at the top of the resort (at no extra cost). There was some problem with the lights that were operated by touch panel, they would all automatically switch on and off again in the middle of the night around 3 or 5am. Other than that, the sun lounger issue is incredibly annoying, as even though they have 4 pools all the loungers are claimed by 9am, even though the occupants disappear for several hours and leave their towels or pool bags. It's in a great location for access to Kata beach which is only accessible from either end of the beach as the entire length has been (concrete)walled off by club-med. Overall I would recommend it if you get the right room.

Wasn't Peach Hill...

Reasonable choice
