very clean hotel with all services excellent
my only negative comments about this hotel are that it is phenomenally slippery around the pool once the tiles are wet; my 8 year old daughter fell over while standing more or less still. the same goes for the bath-shower arrangement, which is set up in a way to encourage you to enter where the bath floor is not yet flat; i had a very close call to a broken limb there on first entry (and i am a fairly fit a well balanced person). rubber mats are available from housekeeping for the bath; i hate them, but would recommend them in this hotel.
in addition, the hot water taps got very hot when in use, as was the water itself. i suspect it was up around 90 to 95 degrees celcius, and could really give you a serious burn.
the only other negative was the hotel's inflexibility on the extra bed; they insisted on charging so much for the extra bed (we checked prior to booking) that we ended up going for a 2 bedroom suite.
of course, the coffee is terrible, but that's just asia.
