This hotel is undergoing renovation on the upper levels but is located right on Karon beach which is not near noisy Patong. This is a nicer part of Phuket. Initially I had a room on the ground level where staff are always noisily working from 6am which is a nuisance factor if you only plan on leisurely getting up around 8. The shower is level with the toilet and the shower curtain is a fraction too short. After a shower the entire bathroom will become a pool of standing .water. I complained and got upgraded to the upper floor with balcony view of the ocean. Breakfast was of a decent variety and quality and staff were really good all round. Good pools and walking distance to many fun eating places at good prices..I'll be back for sure.
