Heerlijk relaxed

The resort was perfect for us to relax. Full of beautiful gardens, nice swimming pools with more than enough beds to relax on. You only need to cross a road to get to the beautiful beach with fun waves and lifeguards. Also there are lots of nice restaurants in the same street on the beach (we recommand Hungry Corner) and many supermarkets and other shops. The Hotel staff was super friendly, from managers to cleaners, everyone wants to help you relax and enjoy. Also, the WiFi is great!
Some cons we encountered: expensive taxi's to Patong and other places (400 baht per ride), but we liked Karon beach better anyway (much cleaner and less crowded). Also the food and drinks in the resort were a bit expensive allthough they have nice happy hours, and right next to the resort are cheaper restaurants with great Thai and western food. The hotel looked a bit old fashioned at first but they are renovating it and I am curious to see how it turns out.

Fantastic hotel for family with elderly and young kids

Easy access to everywhere. But the hotel is a little bit old and the shower facility was pretty bad. Always no hot water in the daytime.

Beautiful holiday
We only spent 3 nights in Phuket at Thavorn and had a lovely time. Very close to good beaches and plenty of great restaurants nearby
