Everything was marginal, nothing special here

Visited the Thavorn Beach Resort near Patong a couple of vacations and it was upscale and great service, great breakfasts. In comparison, This Thavorn Palm Beach Resort is not worth visiting at all. Staff are not as gracious, attentive, food is not well done and cheap ingredients and presentation, Old Mexican Restaurant abandoned but still shows as ugly entrance to their “premium” Thai restaurant, so tacky! Everything is mediocre and varying standards throughout the experience there except for the beautiful building and grounds surrounding. Very disappointed in Thavorn for disintegrating hotel it could be.
