Fun family resort at Karon beach

We enjoyed. Had a large double room. Nice room. Aircon too strong and positioned directly onto beds. Swimming pools fun for the kids with some shallow parts and some shade. No slides. Property is beautiful gardens. Thai tradition + nature. Lots of mosquitoes though, bring citronella spray and avoid evening time in garden. Breakfast pretty good. Mostly Russian tourists who don't smile. No kids club when we were there, just a playroom, this was disappointing, particularly if rainy weather. Beach is fun but you can't go out far, big waves. Karon beach is relatively clean. Very limited in-room dining options. Best restaurant is down the road (South) a few minutes, called Lek Seafood. Cheap and good, we mostly ate here. Karon is much quieter than Patong, few shops.

They were doing construction two doors down .
If you like a jack hammer from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with the manager in a “meeting” so you couldn’t talk to him it’s a great place to stay! Didn’t get offered another room but was sent a plate of fruit ... อ่านต่อ

Nice hotel
We spent 7 days at Thavron 3 adults in one room and our stay was great... the food at the pool bar was nice with reasonable prices... stuff was nice and polite... if I have to write something negativ... อ่านต่อ

Very good hotel, but too many mosquitoes!
The bad: mosquitoes! it's impossible to go to the onsite restaurant after 6pm and they keep biting at the pizza restaurant all day long. Karon beach is poorly cleaned and it has a foul smelling public... อ่านต่อ

Nice hotel with friendly staffs.
