They couldn’t arrange a driver to take me 30 mins down the road until after 2pm in the afternoon. So spent my time hanging round the hotel when I should have been seeing the local attractions. Checked out earlier than planned. No Grab in this area and they said there were no cab companies. I suggested they try one from another town, they didn’t know of any. It was kind of like I should have let them know in advance if I wanted to go anywhere. Never had this problem before anywhere in Thailand, a hotel that can’t sort you out with a pretty basic routine need unless you do it in advance. They wanted me to pre order my breakfast the day before when checking in. I politely said can I not do that at breakfast time tomorrow, I have only just arrived. They said it would be more convenient to do it now.
