My boyfriend and I originally booked 10 nights at Andawa Lanta, but we were so comfortable and loved it so much we ended up extended our stay for 4 more nights. The staff are really on point, really friendly and they really take pride in their business. The hotel is fairly new (I think 5 months?) and the rooms are beautiful and incredibly clean... Like 5 star quality clean. The bathrooms are nicely sized and the room itself is quite large. There is an aircon and a fan and they both worked really well. The balcony is cute , perfect for chilling out and reading a book and there is a mini fridge in the room which is a nice bonus. The housekeeping does an amazing job, everytime we requested room cleaning we received fresh sheets, towels, and just really good overall service. Although it isn't right on the beach, Klong Nin beach is 2 minutes away on a motorbike. Not being on a beach never really bothered us after seeing the accommodation. Plus it's better to rent a motorbike anyway to get around and really explore the island. The location is really convenient for seeing the southern part of the island (which in our opinion is much more interesting that the more "developed" northern part): the national park, old town, and all the lovely little bays dotted along the south west coast. Honestly stop looking and book here. For the price, this is probably the best value you can get on Koh Lanta during high season without sacrificing comfort and cleanliness.
