2.5 Weeks at The Rakkawan

My wife and I stayed at The Rakkawan for 16 days in Feb. 2020. Our experience was excellent. The rooms were clean/cleaned well, the staff particularly friendly, and the location more or less right in the middle of the Khao Lak strip of restaurants/bars, etc.
The staff operating the hotel are a family and very knowledgable, and of course always willing to help.
If you're intending a longer stay, they offer a very reasonably priced laundry service that is priced per kilo (80 baht/kilo), not item. Also, they offer a taxi service both around Khao Lak (perhaps most popular is the night market). Their taxi prices are equal to that of the taxi services you'll find along the road. They also offer taxi service to other areas of Thailand for a reasonable fee/person, and will take you personally.
We absolutely would stay here again!

Very Comfortable, Above my expectation.
