Great location, nice and new, requiring completion

A brand new property 11/15, with well trained staff who are willing to please, a nice restaurant, and a lively bar makes for a pleasurable visit. Although this particular property only has a small rocky beach of its own it is a nice site at the end of a small peninsular featuring lovely beaches very close by (short walk). Set on the top of a small hill in a nicely tree studded area makes this resort refreshingly unique. The bar/restaurant and pool are located on the western side of the hill providing a great spot to watch the beautiful romantic sunsets Thailand is famous for. Although a little distance from any shops or restaurants this can be taken as a positive for those wishing to escape such things, but can provide a logistical challenge if you are searching for a change of gourmet. The resort provides free transfers to a sister resort with a sandy beach and to their other company owned restaurant in town. They also offer rental scooters at very competitive rates and offer taxi or tuk tuk service to the nearby township which has a supermarket plenty of restaurants and local shops.
Negatives Claustrophobically small rooms with back to back bathrooms that leave nothing to the imagination about what your neighbours are up to in theirs. A few fundamental oversights like towel rails too short to be useful, nowhere to open your suitcase, opening windows but no screens to keep the mosquitos at bay meaning you have to run the air conditioner all the time rather than being able to enjoy the wonderful breezes that the site enjoys. At this point the grounds are not yet developed with rather rudimentary paths or should I call them goat tracks to some villas. Be prepared to traverse these somewhat gravelly tracks along with your suitcase particularly when you arrive and depart.
