Helpful people (when around), far away from town, not totally worth the money

I really loved the quiet setting, large rooms and sumptuous breakfast. Perhaps would love the setting if I was with large family. The staff was very helpful and even gave me a ride to the town.
But what was missing was the people connection. The local staff runs the place with no one at the reception at non breakfast or checkin hours. Pai doesn’t have tuktuks, so this is very far away from the town. There was a large language barrier with the staff. I missed out on hanging out with other travelers.

Misleading
Pros: good location if you have a motorbike because it is away from all the noise and has a breathtaking view of the mountain. Free breakfast and coffee/tea were good. Cons: tv didn't work, stove di... อ่านต่อ

Great big bungalow, outside town
Large size bungalow with kitchen area, large bathroom outside town, so own transport is essential WiFi, air-con, TV are all working well

I like this hotel
Staff is very nice，pick us to the bus station at 8 o’clock when raining.And breakfast is very delicious.If I go Pai again,I will chance this hotel.

Quiet but close to the action
Far enough away so that you can have a quiet relaxing holiday and only a 30 min walk or 5 min scooter ride to walking street where all the restaurants/bars are. Awesome staff.
