Upon returning to our room at night time following a day's hiking, we were dismayed to discover our rooms had not been tidied. All four beds were dishevelled and therefore, my wife telephoned reception to enquire why this was the case. The gentleman who answered simply told us that if we were unhappy we could have our money back and go elsewhere. This was at 21.30 hrs and we were travelling with our two young daughters aged 10 and under! Having to obtain alternative accommodation in an unfamiliar area at such a time was not only stressful but also tiring for our children. Very luckily we managed to find lodging at a marvellous hotel called Diamond De Pai which was in the centre of the town, had far better facilities/location and was also a cheaper option. I have never had cause to complain about any lodgings before, indeed we stayed at seven different hotels/resorts during our trip and all of the others were more than adequate. I vehemently would not recommend Mont Goei Pai.
