Two words that sum up our stay at Lanta Lapaya: Beautiful and friendly.

The best part of our stay here was by far the amazing customer service. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable during our stay. The resort was beautiful though not right on the beach which could be a pro or con depending on what you're looking for. It's quieter being further away but you dont get to wake up looking out over the ocean. Either way its a short walk, under five minutes so not a big deal.
While you do pay a premium for the expertise of the staff it is still far from the most expensive place on Koh Lanta and we think it was well worth the money.
In all it was our favorite place we stayed during the entire month we spent traveling through Thailand.
