We booked 3 nights at Smile Place, but didn't actually stay there due to multiple problems with our room. Upon check in, we were told that the AC in our room was broken. So the staff put us in another hotel down the street for one night and told us to move to Smile Place the next day.
On Day 2, we moved out of the other hotel and checked in to Smile Place. Shortly after we checked into our room, the water completely stopped working. We waited 2+ hours for the problem to be fixed, but by 11pm there was still no water. So the staff moved us back to the other hotel that we had stayed at the night before. We stayed there for our remaining 2 nights in Ko Lanta.
From the little time we spent in Smile Place, the room seemed okay; it was large and clean. But we had booked the ground floor apartment, which we had thought was a garden bungalow according to the photos. But they gave us a room on the upper floor. So be aware that you might not get the room you booked.

Fantastic place to stay at Koh Lanta

Very good experience
Good place with a good hotel owner, clean room, walk 1 min to a 7-11, and 5 minutes to the beach. also the hotel owner provide all services with almost best price in this island.
