Told HIP of my arrival time and arranged for transport via email. Arrived and had to wait 2 hrs on the pier. When I finally got to the hotel has to climb 1000 stairs in April Thai high noon heat. Was told I had to inform the person at the pier (who spoke limited English, understandly) that I had a prearranged rise. Tried to tell them he kept saying 5 min and they just didn’t care. The woman working in the am couldn’t careless about my dissatisfaction. Decided to give them another chance and book a speedboat tour through them. Told them wanted a small 10 person boat. Was put on a large boat. They did not explain that the boat would not bring me back to the hotel (of the 10+ trips booked in Thailand all have included return to hotel). Also was told the kitchen closed at 10pm after climbing those damn stairs was told the cook stops at 9:30. They have a dock so no beach area. Saw 2 couples find different hotels immediately after arriving. Better hotels right next door along this stretch!
